Special Post: It's a CHOICE
I have to admit that I haven't laughed like this in a LONG TIME. I find it very entertaining when men try to justify why women should go Dutch or pay for dates. Yes - I said DATES. I was raised to believe in courting. And part of courting, before commitment, involves dating. My mother and grandmother wouldn't even think of letting me go out with any lame that even suggested that I should pay or contribute. They always taught me to know my worth and never settle for less. So that has always been my CHOICE and I have never lowered my standards. Relationships are for sharing and caring. And I have NO PROBLEM paying for someone that I am in a RELATIONSHIP WITH. And if you don't agree with MY CHOICE, that's fine. To each their own. And yes - I am very capable of paying. I work full time and OWN my home and vehicle. I'm not a goldigger by a long shot. I just choose not to pay for a date. And yes, I have a man. And we are very happy and have been for YEARS.

When I was in High School and college, a dude would NEVER ask a woman on a date and expect her to pay or go Dutch. That was WACK and you would get clowned on.
